For centuries, camel milk has been valued as a traditional food that promotes good health. Recent scientific reviews are now exploring how this ancient beverage might play a role in addressing conditions often associated with getting older. Researchers have looked at existing studies to understand camel milk’s potential impact on a range of age-related health concerns, including problems with metabolism (how our bodies use energy), heart and blood vessel issues, brain function, and immune system responses.
The findings suggest that camel milk may help by influencing key biological processes. For instance, it appears to modulate “oxidative stress,” which is an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants in the body that can lead to cell damage, and “chronic inflammation,” a long-term immune response that contributes to many diseases.
